Drew some quick pics of Josh Elder and Erich Owen’s MAIL ORDER NINJA today! That series is funtastic.

Sonrisa and I watched that new Superman: Doomsday animated movie with newjason and Kathryn last night…and we liked it! It was way better than its crappy trailer made it out to be. Surprisingly, all the voice-recasting is pretty great, especially James Marsters as Lex Luthor. It definitely earned its PG-13 rating and shouldn’t have been in the Kids New Release section at my local Blockbuster, but it was pretty enjoyable nonetheless. My only real gripes were: 1) Sleezeball Jimmy? No way. And 2) a few costume notes. But I am super-picky about super-suits.

The character design for Lex was one of the best animated versions I’ve seen. Just awesome. It’s definitely going to influence how I draw the character from now on. On the Superman: Doomsday website, Bruce Timm says they were inspired by Superman: Birthright’s Lex, which was a good call. ;)
